ERGO-line implemented 22 fully equipped ERGO-Basic packing workstations with integrated scales and logistics structures for Buchzentrum AG in Hägendorf, thereby optimising central packaging processes.

Client background and challenges

With increasing order volumes and high demands on speed and precision in logistics, the packaging area needed to be modernised. The aim was to create a high-performance infrastructure for the efficient handling of shipping processes. At the same time, the workstations were to be ergonomically designed and optimally tailored to the specific requirements of book shipping. In addition to sufficient work space, the integration of scales, packaging materials and digital work equipment was also an important part of the project.

Solution and result

ERGO-line installed a total of 22 fully equipped ERGO-Basic packing workstations. The electrically height-adjustable table frames with Trovidur worktops were supplemented with numerous add-ons, including perforated profiles for accessories, table scales, power strips, folding box magazines, monitor arms and workstation lights. This created a modern and ergonomic packaging environment that significantly improves both efficiency and clarity in the shipping process.
