Ergonomic Assembly Lines for Precision Products

For Integra Biosciences AG, an ergonomic workstation solution was implemented using the height adjustable ERGO Vario, complemented by smart accessories for efficient assembly.

Client background and challenges

Assembly at Integra is primarily performed in a seated position and involves fine, highly precise tasks. The new workstation solution therefore needed to be not only ergonomic, but also flexible and suitable for a range of activities. In addition, the material flow had to be efficient and the overall setup visually clean and well organized.

Solution and result

With the height adjustable ERGO Vario assembly table, an ideal solution for seated production was implemented.

The workstation was complemented by LED lighting, a tool balancer for ergonomic tool support, and side perforated panels that provide both functional and visual structure.

For efficient material supply, transport carts were integrated as the perfect addition to complete the internal logistics flow.
