Ergonomic assembly and shipping workstations with ERGO-Basic

ERGO-line created new 90° table combinations with ERGO-Basic and ERGO-Forte for Produ-Plast AG, thereby modernising the workstations in the assembly and shipping departments in a sustainable manner.

Client background and challenges

As part of the modernisation of the assembly workstations, existing work areas were to be renovated and adapted to current ergonomic and process requirements. The workstations had to offer sufficient space for assembly work, but at the same time be compact and efficiently integrated into existing room structures. In addition, a clear separation and structuring of the processes between assembly and shipping was necessary to ensure a smooth flow of materials.

Solution and result

ERGO-line supplied and assembled a total of four ERGO-Basic table combinations in a 90° configuration with add-ons, as well as two additional 90° combinations without add-ons. An ERGO-Forte workstation was also installed. The L-shape of the table systems created spacious, ergonomic work surfaces with optimal use of space. The new workplace design enables structured assembly processes and at the same time supports efficient workflows in the freight forwarding company. The result is high-performance, flexible workstations with a high level of functionality.
