Modern packing tables for efficient shipping processes in wholesale floristry

With ten height-adjustable ERGO-Basic packing tables, ERGO-line modernised the shipping logistics of Siegfried Schuster GmbH and increased efficiency, ergonomics and throughput speed in the growing online trade.

Client background and challenges

With continuous growth, particularly in online retail, there was an increasing need to modernise shipping logistics. The existing packing tables no longer met the requirements for efficiency and ergonomics. The aim was to speed up packaging processes while also improving working conditions for employees in the long term.

Solution and result

ERGO-line developed a concept tailored to wholesale for optimising packaging processes. Ten height-adjustable ERGO-Basic table frames were installed in combination with melamine-coated worktops in light grey with ABS edges. In addition, lockable drawers were integrated, a rear table cutting device for roll widths up to 1500 mm was installed, and ergonomic floor mats and transport carts were incorporated.

The new solution ensures structured workflows, ergonomic working and a significantly more efficient shipping process.
