ESD Solution for Electronics Assembly

ESD workstation systems and ESD flooring for the new top-floor production site – planned, delivered, and executed by ERGO-line.

Background & Challenge

After relocating to the attic of a residential building, the entire workspace had to be made ESD-safe to protect sensitive components from electrostatic discharge. The new assembly area created unique planning requirements.

The challenge was to use the unique structural conditions – such as sloped ceilings and limited space – optimally and efficiently. At the same time, all relevant ESD protection measures had to be integrated and work together seamlessly.

Solution & Results

ERGO-line developed a comprehensive end-to-end ESD solution, making the entire room ESD-safe. The implementation included ERGO-Basic work tables, complemented by custom-fitted accessories, lighting solutions, and a custom-made ESD flooring. In addition, a specially designed cabinet for electrical parts was built by a partner company.

The combination of ergonomic, conductive furniture and end-to-end ESD equipment now guarantees a standards-compliant, safe work environment.
