25 ergonomic ESD assembly workstations for microfabrication in a cleanroom

ERGO-line has installed 25 electrically height-adjustable ESD assembly workstations for Huber+Suhner AG’s micro-manufacturing operations. The individually configured workstations improve ergonomics, process reliability and efficiency, and create the ideal conditions for precise manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment.

Client background and challenges

In the microfabrication area, existing workstations were to be modernised and systematically optimised for ergonomic and process-reliable workflows. At the same time, all workstations had to meet the requirements for ESD-protected manufacturing processes and offer sufficient flexibility for a variety of assembly tasks.

A further focus was on ensuring uniform equipment across all workstations, as well as the optimal integration of lighting, power supply and material provision.

Solution and result

ERGO-line has developed a workstation solution tailored entirely to the requirements of micro-manufacturing. A total of 25 electrically height-adjustable ERGO-Master assembly workstations with ESD worktops were installed. Each workstation was fitted with LED workstation lighting, mounting systems, tool rails, power strips, cable management and earthing components. In addition, the mobile design with retractable castors ensures maximum flexibility within the production environment.

The result is a range of modern, ergonomic and standardised assembly workstations that improve working conditions, enhance process quality and, at the same time, facilitate future adjustments to production processes.
