Modular, ergonomic workstations for production, training and work integration

ERGO-line designed and implemented ergonomic workstation systems for various areas of activity on behalf of Kompass Arbeitsintegration. These bespoke solutions create optimal working conditions, support flexible processes and can be adapted to new requirements at any time.

Client background and challenges

As the various work areas involve very different tasks, a workstation solution was required that could be flexibly adapted to the respective requirements. In addition to ergonomic considerations, providing individual support to participants also played an important role.

In addition to the workstations for production and assembly tasks, the sewing workshop was also to be equipped with a specially tailored solution. At the same time, the overall concept had to be designed in such a way that future extensions or adjustments could be carried out with minimal effort.

Solution and result

ERGO-line developed a workstation concept based on the modular ERGO-Basic system, which was individually tailored to the various areas of application.

Depending on the area of application, height-adjustable workbenches, ergonomic lighting, perforated profiles, tool holders, material storage units, storage surfaces and a well-designed cable management system were utilised. The workstations were complemented by ergonomic standing aids. For the sewing studio, a specially adapted solution was also created, featuring bespoke worktops and additional storage options.

The modular system offers the advantage that all workstations can be expanded or adapted to changing workflows in the future with minimal effort. This means that staff and participants alike benefit from ergonomic, well-organised and future-proof workstations.
