Ergonomic packing workstations for the dispatch and printing departments

Kern Studer GmbH developed seven ergonomic ERGO-Basic packing workstations for Sport Böckmann. The individually configured workstations improve processes in the dispatch and printing departments, create a tidier working environment and ensure ergonomic working conditions in day-to-day operations.

Client background and challenges

As part of the optimisation of internal dispatch and printing processes, the aim was to create new workstations that would enable staff to work ergonomically whilst providing sufficient storage and work surface space for the daily flow of materials. The requirement was for a durable solution that would integrate seamlessly into existing operational processes and could be easily expanded to accommodate future changes.

Solution and result

Kern Studer developed seven custom-configured ERGO-Basic packing workstations with height-adjustable table frames, robust worktops, generous storage areas and side extensions.

The modular workstations enable ergonomic working, create clear structures within the dispatch process and provide ample space for packaging materials, printed documents and work equipment. Thanks to their modular design, the workstations can be flexibly adapted and expanded at any time.
