Custom packing stations for structured and high-performance shipping operations

ERGO-line designed and delivered three custom packing stations for TABAKWAREN-GROSSEINKAUF HANNOVER eG. The combination of height-adjustable workstations, integrated material supply systems and optimized workstation organization supports efficient and reliable shipping processes.

Client background and challenges

The company aimed to reorganize its packing area to better support daily order fulfillment and shipping activities. Packaging materials, cartons, tools and IT equipment needed to be easily accessible without compromising valuable workspace.

Another key requirement was flexibility. The new solution had to accommodate different employees while remaining adaptable to future process changes. Improving workplace organization and reducing unnecessary movements were additional objectives.

Solution and result

ERGO-line developed three spacious packing workstations based on electrically height-adjustable tables measuring 2000 × 900 mm. The solution was complemented with fixed and mobile carton magazines, lockable drawers, professional LED task lighting and integrated cable management systems.

Packaging materials are now available directly at the workstation, ensuring smooth workflows and minimizing unnecessary handling. The clearly structured workstation layout supports daily packing operations while providing a comfortable and organized working environment.
